Who we are

Founded by Chris Callaway, based in New Paltz, photographer, husband and father, and your fire-stoker. Wintersun is a nature-focused mobile sauna built around gathering. We partner with local farms, hospitality groups, and small businesses to bring sauna into meaningful outdoor spaces.

At its heart, Wintersun is about connection, to yourself, to others, and to the land. We believe wellness should be accessible, affordable, and part of everyday life.

We’re just getting started, but our vision is clear: to create welcoming, nature-based experiences where health and community grow together.

Wintersun is your turnkey sauna wellness partner. For hospitality properties, campgrounds, farms, and outdoor destinations we offer an unforgettable wellness experience without the cost and complexity of owning a sauna. Together we create experiences that increase guest satisfaction, extend off-season appeal, and unlock new revenue opportunities through shared programming and events.
